| Coordination Meeting for Promotion of Tourism |

Tuesday, the 9th of September 2008, the Coordination Meeting for Promotion of Tourism chaired by the Prime Minister, General Thein Sein was held at Building 33, Naypyitaw - Ministry of Hotels & Tourism. The EXCOM of MMC together with EXCOM of UMTA and MHA had attended.
Visa on arrival, contribution for Trade Fairs worldwide, regulations on overseas broadcasting, TV channels, Travel Writers and other tourism related matters had been discussed by the Ministers of the Ministries concerned.
Meeting adjourned with the commitment of developing tourism in Myanmar as a common goal. |
