The magnificent Golden Rock Pagoda is a small stupa enshrined with the Buddha's Hair Relic resting on top of a huge boulder, which is completely covered by gold leaves and balances delicately on the edge of a cliff of Kyaiktiyo Mountain. A spectacular view atop is not to be missed especially at sunrise or sunset. Accommodation is arranged at Golden Rock Hotel inclusive of breakfast. There is combination of transport by coach for about 5-hour drive from Yangon to Kyaiktiyo, a 45-minute up the mountain by open truck from the base camp to the Hotel, and a 45-minute walk up on foot to the Golden Rock Pagoda.

TOUR PROGRAM

Day 01: Yangon - Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo)                  

Early morning, pick you up at your hotel and drive to Golden Rock by private transport.  Arrive at Kinmon Base Camp in the early afternoon. Representative from the hotel will meet you at the base camp and transfer you to the hotel. Late afternoon, visit the amazing Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo) Pagoda and watch the spectacular sunset before returning to the hotel.  Overnight in Golden Rock.                                                   

Day 02:  Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo) - Yangon                  

After breakfast, transfer to Kinmon Base Camp and then drive back to Yangon.  Arrive at Yangon in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon
