The magnificent Golden Rock Pagoda is a small stupa enshrined with the Buddha's Hair Relic resting on top of     a huge boulder, which is completely covered by gold leaves and balances delicately on the edge of a cliff of Kyaiktiyo Mountain. A spectacular view atop is not to be missed especially at sunrise or sunset. Accommodation is arranged at Golden Rock Hotel inclusive of breakfast. There is combination of transport by coach for about 5-hour drive from Yangon to Kyaiktiyo, a 45-minute up the mountain by open truck from the base camp to the Hotel, and a 45-minute walk up on foot to the Golden Rock Pagoda.

TOUR PROGRAM

Day 01: Yangon - Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo)                  

Early morning, pick you up at your hotel and drive to Golden Rock by private transport.  Arrive at Kinmon Base Camp in the early afternoon. Representative from the hotel will meet you at the base camp and transfer you to the hotel. Late afternoon, visit the amazing Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo) Pagoda and watch the spectacular sunset before returning to the hotel.  Overnight in Golden Rock.or Mountain Top Hotel.                                                              

Day 02:  Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo) - Yangon                  

After breakfast, transfer to Kinmon Base Camp and then drive back to Yangon.  Arrive at Yangon in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon

TOUR PROGRAM

Day-1     Yangon-Mawlamyine

After breakfast at hotel, pick up from hotel and drive to Mawlamyine, the third largest city in Myanmar (Approxi : 6hrs Drive). Lunch at local restaurant. . If time permits make a visit to Zin Kyaik Water-fall on the way.  Arrive at Mawlamyine and check in hotel. Evening walk along the bank of Thanlwin river and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day-2     Mawlamyine
 
Breakfast at hotel and bring lunch box for the day. Drive to Kado & Kawnet Villages, located on route between Mawlamyine an Hpa-an. Visit the religious buildings built and donated by U Nar Auk (1832-1913), one of Mon patriots in Mon state. All big temples were built at earliest of 20 century and were decorated with the arts of woodcarving, glass-mosaic, Pitakat Taik or Library of Buddha teachings, ancient Buddha images and spire, wall-painting and so on. Lunch at the U Nar Auk monastery. Return back to Mawlamyine in the afternoon and visit U Zina Pagoda, famous Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, Queen Sein don wood carving monastery and view point watching colonial style buildings and the whole city of Mawlamyine . Dinner and overnight at hotel in Mawlamyine..

Day-3     Mawlamyine/ Yangon

After breakfast and check- out from hotel. Take a short visit to Mawlamyine main market and harbor. Drive back Yangon and pay a visit Bago on the way. Have a lunch at Bago. Then drive to Yangon and transfer to Hotel.
